I'm replacing an old 3G flip phone. I'm looking at Kyocera because they seem to be the most rugged. If I get a used DuraXV E4610 can I use it on Verizon? Is there a better (cheaper) flip phone I can get used that's rugged?
Thanks. I recently tried to replace my current flip phone with an old one I got originally from Verizon. I was told it was no longer supported. I presume it's because it was a 3 G.
I looked at the new flip phones Verizon had. The $100 one seemed kinda cheap. The Kyocera seemed rugged, but I don't want to pay that much. I'm looking for a used flip phone on E-bay.
Several sellers have Kyocera DuraXV LTE 4610. If I buy it can I use it on Verizon's network?

For $100, you're going to get that....a cheap phone. For better quality, it will cost more. That's logical. The saying of you get what you pay for is pretty much true.
I agree. I consider myself to be pretty good at discerning value in electronics. A used Kyocera is about a fourth of the price of a new one. Caveat is I need to know if they will work on Verizon before I buy it. I'm open to other suggestions for rugged economical flip phones.
