I recently lost my phone (and then found it broken) and attempted to login into My Verizon to get a new phone. However, I locked myself out of my account and it will only send a temporary password to my broken phone. It said that if a text message could not be sent I would be mailed my password in 3-5 days and it has now been over 2 weeks. I find it very frustrating that I have to create a bogus guest account just so that I can get in touch with someone instead of just e-mailing someone regularly. Is there any way to have my temporary password sent to the e-mail address connected to my account??? I'm unsure as to why that is not an option. Any help is appreciated.

Last time I locked my self out typing the password wrong I called verizon and they reset it for me. I had to give the main account password and some other info to verify it was me. Why don't you try that. Mary

I wonder if a corporate store might could intercept a temporary password for you, or do anything at all with you there and able to ID yourself.
