So about a month ago I dropped my phone in the snow and to replace it I had a really old flip phone. Once I activated that phone, I received a flurry of messages, like you usually would if you turned your phone off and several people texted you. Though, once I tried sending one, the message would fail to send and would say that there was no signal. After that, I couldn't receive messages either. I could, however, call and receive phone calls.
I called customer support and they said that I should try bringing it in or it might be due to the age of the phone. So I got a hold of an LG Cosmos and activated it, however with the same problem: can make and receive phone calls but no texts. Any help?

Here to help get those messages flowing again! Was your previous device an iPhone? If so, are users being sent messages iPhone users? Zip code? Has the previous device been powered down?
