I have an LG Octane. I access email via this phone. I have accounts for hotmail, yahoo, gmail set up. Each one of these emails accounts has recently (as of approximately 2 weeks ago (March 2012)) started to show emails that I have "READ" as "UNREAD". This happens when the READ email gets moved off of the page which shows my recent emails (I could never access all of my emails in my inbox, only the first 50 are displayed). After I delete for example 5 emails amongst the first 50, then the previous emails 51-55 will now show up as emails 46-50 and appears as unread. This had not happened to me prior to around 2-3 weeks ago, the emails that I actually read would always show up as read, even when I deleted some via the phone and the older ones got moved back to the displayable page of 50 emails.
I assume this is a defect within a new version of Verizon email software handling programs. Does anyone know a workaround or if a fix is planned?
