Whenever I call my mom's phone (on my plan), it makes a short ring then a long ring. It sounds like the call is being forwarded. When I contact support I'm told the call forwarding is set to 1. Her phone has never been forwarded, nor has the ring time ever been set. When I ask the rep what number is being shown for the forwarding and how does the ring time get set, they tell me they can't see that info, but they have reset the ring time. Meanwhile, it keeps going back to 1 and no matter what they tell me to do to rectify the issue, nothing works. It still has the weird ring and the call forwarding/ring time keeps getting put back to 1. This strange ring doesn't happen when calling from any other phone/phone number. I've done a factory reset, *228, made sure call forwarding was turned off, re-syncing the phone - nothing works. Now they're suggesting I just get her a new phone.
