I have the enV touch and it is on v04. anyway to update the firmware?

The easiest way to make sure you get to take full advantage of your device with the newest software is simple as can be. I have included the steps for you listed below-
1. Navigate to menu
2. Settings and tools
3. Phone Info
4. Software update
5. Check New
6. Press OK software download will take 1-2 minutes
7. Press Ok
8. Navigate to menu, Settings and tools, Phone info, Sw/Hw Version and verify the software has been updated
In a matter of moments you will be on your way to the new software update.
