how do i check messages that were actually sent from my phone? i wrote some lyrics for a song i wrote and deleted the conversation, please help

I'm afraid that unless you backed up the text messages somewhere before deleting them (such as by forwarding them to your e-mail), once you deleted them, they're gone.  The text logs are available via your on-line MyVerizon account, but not the text content.
