how to disable voice command feature on a convoy3. Voice Cmd Feature starts when cover is opened. NO GOOD.

pressing the VOICE COMMAND BUTTON doesn't work..It askes for a voice command as soon as I open the cover. I DON'T WANT THIS FEATURE.

HOW DO I DISABLE IT !

Give this a try,  go into settings, In your phone go to MENU > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Readout. There is a selection for "Flip Open & Talk". Disable that feature & the problem should be fixed.

LOVE TO KNOW who ANSWERED ME. I'll try that SUGGESTION, but for someone with really bad ARTHRITIS in fingers, FLIPPING the COVER is one of the BIG ADVANTAGES OF A FLIP PHONE, to answer and hangup. Thanks who ever you are. If it does work, I'll have to teach my wife how to TRY TO PRESS BUTTONS (NOT EASY). JERRY
