call *228 from the phone u want 2 switch too. then press option 1 and it will ask for your cell number and then the account holders passcode. then once that information is in, it will play music and then reset and you should be good to go on using your phone.
Much will depend on the phone you have NOW and the phone you want to switch to "without changing your plan" - if you are wanting to switch to a smartphone from a basic or multi-media phone (a classification no longer available) you will need to add a tiered data plan.
