international text messaging to czech republic?

Sorry but Czech Republic is not listed under countries listed for text messaging. So does this mean the person I am txting to does not receive my texts cause it's not participating? Funny thing is that you can though call to there.

In response to your question, currently we do not support text messaging to the Czech Republic. You are correct in saying that calling is available to the Czech Republic, however, at this time that is the only service.

Hi,

Verizon is not a global provider, you should not be using Verizon if you plan to communicate with people outside of the US. Verizon didn't even manage to cover the European Union.

Take a look at this link, it shows that a Verizon customer cannot be texted from or can text to numbers in the Czech Republic, Croatia or Hungary and those are EU countries!!!
