***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. On the afternoon of Monday 12/5, all users will be able to log into the new Verizon Community. We expect the new Community to be fully functional the morning of Friday 12/9. why am I getting fb messages sent to my lg cosmo? how do I stop them? I asked a rep. at a Verizon store & they said they never had seen this happen before.

Let's ensure these facebook messages cease! Typically this occurs if you're phone number is provided in Facebook setting. You may disable by heading to the "Mobile Settings" page within Facebook http://www.facebook.com/mobile/?settings once there Click off in the Facebook Text Messages field then save preferences at the bottom of page. You may also text Off to the number that sent you the message. You will then get a message stating "Facebook text are now off"
