As a Fios by Verizon customer, you can get up to $500.... Real or just a dead-end advertisement

Everytime I log into my fios account I see a promotion for up to $500 off for wireless service (http://more.vzw.com/fiosoffer/).

When I contacted a couple of the verizon stores, the reps said this is not a valid offer.

Verizon Wireless or Verizon Fios  online chat has no idea about it.

Is this just a random advertisment that is cycling through my account? Or, can I actually take a advantage of this offer?
