Sirs/Madam:
I just received a phone call from somebody saying they were from Verizon. They wanted to know if I had internet, phone and
TV service through Verizon. I told them I did. They then indicated that I could save money by rebundling my service package
from 20-40 dollars. The representative then transferred me over to billing. Which was more or less calling in to the 800 #
and getting the automated operator. I was able to get through and speak with someone who said I already have the lowest
price bundle and that Verizon really couldn't save me any money.
I then asked to be put through to a department to have my name taken off the call list only to have a recording come on and
say I would have to leave a message as the office hours were during the week.
Can you please explain to me why you believe this is acceptable behavior?
I realize I have to give permission for the representative to look at my account but it seems dumb for someone to state they can save me money only to be told by someone else that they can't.
Thanks
