I have a collection on my account with a zero balance it doesn't make sense that it would be there. there was an issue with missing equipment that i had returned and thankfully kept the receipt for at the time. the issue was resolved but the malicious collection remained on my credit report. the collection was filed in 2020 but the account was closed in 2019. it doesn't make sense . i cant even move out of my apartment because of my now tanked credit score .
I was finally able to get in contact with Verizon and they blatantly refused to remove a paid in full account off of my credit report. They even said they don't offer a pay to delete option. They said the best that they can do is give me a paid in full letter and said good luck contacting the credit bureaus to have the remark removed. The number I was given to call is 1-877-325-5156
