My $125 Security Deposit not refunded

Hi,

I have placed an order on 29th June 2023 for a HomeFios internet connection. I was asked to pay $125 as security deposit which I paid immediately on same day. But I have not received the internet connection activated on 29th June 2023 EOD. When I called the Verizon customer service on 30th June 2023, I was told that my order did not go through due to technical issues. They have placed a new order and asked me to pay $125 as security deposit again. I paid $125 again and I got the internet connection immediately. But I paid the security deposit $125 twice, i.e. $250 for my internet connection. Customer service told me that I will be getting my initial deposit of $125 refunded in 5 to 10 business days. But it has been 1 month I have not received my security deposit till now. I have been calling Verizon Customer Service and there is no proper answer/response on my money refund. They are not looking into the issue seriously. They have been giving me different updates/status just to pass the issue to next day/few days/week. I have spent many productive hours talking to Verizon Customer Support to get my money refunded. Still no proper answer/time when I will get my money.

Will I be getting my money back or not? How many days will it take to refund the money? Is there any escalation mechanism to talk to get next level support? Is there a process to raise dispute to get my money back?
