Paying by money order.

OK so recently I mailed Verizon a money order of $23 because earlier this month I had already made a payment Using the stub at a payment center. Anyways,_the problem is I was in a rush and I accidentally wrote my customer I'd on the money order instead! My question is will it still be accepted?
