When does Verizon starts to charge my mobile phone

For example: if I order today 02/17/2023, then receive the phone 02/21/2023, and activate the new phone on 02/27/2023

Just wondering when does Verizon start to charge my mobile phones., 02/17 or 02/21 or 02/27?

If I have multiple lines and each one will be activated to Verizon on different days? Will each phone be prorated differently?
