I purchased a wireless service with Verizon on 1/12/23 online.
The sim card in question was delivered on 1/17, the item was delivered to a residential locker which I had no access to. I realized there was no way I could get a hold of the sim card so I cancelled the service on 1/18.
But Verizon issues a collections notice for $101 on my account. I contacted the customer service who told me I had to pay off the activation fee since the line had been active for more than 5 days.
I paid off the activation fee Verizon charged me with. But still the notice on my credit report is hurting my other accounts I plan on opening in the future.
