From time to time Over the past year my land line account has been charged for false 411 charges. I can see 411 calls in my account call history, but I know that I (nor my wife) did not make any 411 calls. If I need a number, I use google. Apparently my account is not the only account this is happening to. I googled “verizon false 411 charges” and get multiple pages of other Verizon account holders having the same problem. Verizon community help also reflects many, many Verizon account holders having the same problem being billed with false 411 charges.
In my current June 2023 bill I received two more false 411 charges that are falsely reflected in my call hsitory: 5/30 @ 4:21PM, and 6/12 @ 4:45 PM.
Calling Verizon customer service 800 number(s) does not resolve the issue. I have tried escalating the false billing to the executive office, but that does not resolve the issue. Typically I get phone call from a very rude and unprofessional executive assistant, and that certainly does not resolve anything.
Verizon obviously knows that the FALSE 411 BILLING is happing, yet Verizon continues to lie about it. The fact that these false 411 calls are being charged to so many Verizon accounts means that Verizon is aware of these false 411 charges to account holders, yet Verizon continues to deny culpability.
