My brother has dementia &  I am managing all of his financial affairs under a Durable Power of Attorney.  I need to access his Verizon cellular account so I can see the account statements and update  automatic payments  as needed. How do I get added to his account using my  Durable Power of Attorney? Thank you.

As someone who has had a few family members with dementia, I understand the need for this Durable Power of Attorney to be attached to your brother's account, haraldverizon. You may email the required documents or send them via US Mail. Here are the required documents:

 

Documents must include:

All pages of POA documentation (not just the first page)

The customer's name

Account number or MDN

The POA requestors contact number

You may email these to Documenti@hq.verizonwireless.com or send to:

Verizon Wireless

Attn: Correspondence Team

P.O. Box 408

Newark, NJ 07101-0408

Fax: 877-909-3445

POA reviews are usually completed in 48 hours.
