Account in collections

My account from 4 years ago has been put through collections and I am trying to settle it but I am unable to access the account. I tried giving my SSN to the auto prompts over the phone but it can’t find my account therefore I am unable to even begin to think about trying to settle it. I would love to speak to an actual person to see if there’s any way I could resolve this as soon as possible. Any help is appreciated.
