I wanted to put the Fios bill in my name. I ended up getting two bills due in March. Apparently, Verizon closes the account and opens a new one instead of putting your name on the original account. That's stupid and now I'm being forced to pay twice for one month of service. Literally nothing is changing except for the name on the account. Anyway, the new account has the old name on it instead of the new name! I have an extra bill for nothing! I tried contacting Verizon through the chat and then an agent called me and it was still no help. My Verizon account still lists the old name. I don't know if the name hasn't been fixed or if it's taking time to complete the process. This should have been a simple fix but it's been a big headache. I'm also worried that I'm possibly going to receive a third bill for March and that the agents tricked me into reordering the same services I'm already subscribed to and paying for. Why would I click to order anything when I'm already subscribed and just want to change the name on the account?
