Account suspended and unable to speak with someone

I had a payment arrangement to keep my services on, and I paid it 2 days after the due date (it was a holiday and the customer service automated babysitter wouldn't let me talk to someone) my service was suspended today and of course I can't talk to anyone.  I really hate that both the system and app lead you around in circles.  My bill increased over the past few months because when I was paying on the app, it was going to the CURRENT BALANCE, not the past due balance!! I am so beyond frustrated with Verizon they do not care about their customers just how much money they can manipulate out of you.  I have been paying extra for almost 4 months now because of this issue and if the increased amounts I was paying actually went to my past due I would've had it caught up.  I am near broke after the holidays and used my entire paycheck to pay my PHONE BILL and of course they still want more.  I need my service restored to be able to work to give you guys more money.

Did this ever get handled ? My bill was past due and despite every month paying the extra fees and catching it up , it continues to go up every month. Then randomly one month it will be ridiculously low. Makes now sense and no rep can seem to figure it out yet all know something is wrong. The problem is I have two little kids and don’t have time to sit on the phone and explain this a million times.

No.... now my payments are normal.  Still stupid high but not an extra $100 like it was around the holidays.  I am like you I don't have the time to wait and explain over and over, but when I do I get robotic scripted answers from people who can't really explain to me why my bill randomly goes up.  I guess I'll have to make time.

More of the same.  Using overseas call centers who are robots paid to say the same thing the automated systems do.  I HATE THIS COMPANY but I have no choice because of where I live.  I am so beyond frustrated this is ridiculous like you don't soak every dime out of people with late fees anyway! Your CEOs getting richer and richer taking advantage of people. I hate VERIZON if you have a choice stay far far farrrrrr away.

I had the same issue. I had a payment arrangement that I could not fulfill due to me having to use those funds to move closer to the hospital my daughter goes to for treatment: I called in and explained the situation. The representative said if I paid $200 on the bill they can push the payment arrangement out until the 12of July when I get paid: I asked are you sure she said fine. 

little do I know I wake up the next day to suspended service. Here is the gag. When you call to try to speak to anyone it automatically redirects you to make a payment and restricts you from talking to an agent UNTIL you make a payment . I called every single Verizon customer service number even sales just so I can speak to someone and NOPE once it registers your calling from a Verizon number it restricts your access. After 20 minutes, I said you know what let me block my number and guess what I got a representative that was able to help me. 

the level of ridiculousness was unfathomable .

I’m in the same position right now. They make it to where you must pay the bill. They block all access to a representative which I feel is unfair. I can’t call anyone for help. They only want money. My first bill was over $300 and I literally have 1 line. It’s pathetic

I’m in the same exact situation right now. I’ve been having trouble making payments the last couple of months but I did make one recently but I was able to uphold the one for last week. Now I have no service and the thing is I’m still trying to catch my car note up because otherwise I can’t even work anyways. So how will I pay anything then? I’m having to pay my car, my insurance, this phone, my medical bills form hospitals and etc. now I can’t reach out to anyone and I receive important calls.

I'm in the same situation as all of you. I was just diagnosed with congenital heart failure and I was given a pacemaker that's linked to my phone so in case my heart gives out, it will try to shock my heart and call EMS to get me to a hospital. I called to make a payment and to temporarily suspend service for two lines and I get greeted by an automated system that tells me that I have been sent to collections and I have to make a payment for $382.99 before they get my service back on. It will not let me speak with anyone, customer service or a supervisor that can help me. I have a 31 year old son who is both mentally and physically ill as well as my heart failure needing constant connection to the app to send to my cardiologist in order to make sure I don't croak. They might as well be killing me themselves.
