Add new line - bill separately

I’d like to add a new line to my account to use for business purposes but I don’t want both lines to be billed to the same account. I’d like to use a separate card for the business line. 

 

Is there a way to do that? ?

You could open as a separate account, but you will likely need to use the business name or at least a different name than your name to open the account. I don't know if you can open it as a sub-account under your name and have it still billed separately.

Business accounts are handled under the Verizon Business part of the company, separate from the personal accounts.  I'd contact the business section to ask about getting the separate line.
