Agents giving out false information!

I was lied to by two different agents about the cost of the package i signed up for and now they tell me they are sorry, but there is nothing they can do for me.  No such package exists...I have names and id numbers of the agents i spoke with and no one cares!  i have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because I know other people who have had the same problem with Verizon...knew I should have gone with my gut on this one!  I would rather pay Bright House more each month and know they are not lying to me everytime I call!

To start, I will say I have been basically happy with my service. However, do not expect any resolution to yor problem. I had a similar issue where I was promissed certain discounts in year one, and additional in year two. No where on my bill does it say the second year discounts. I was given someone to help me after posting on this board, however although he was very helpfull, the reality is the help is futile. He would get me on the phone with a billing/customer service person and they would say that it is on the acct but that it wont show up till year two kicks in. They promise to email me confirmation of this and it never comes. Then theyhang up. I never get the email and the person helping me can not find the person agan becasue they do not get full names or id numbers to track people down. During multiple conversations with customer service and/or billing with him on phone t was clear I was lied to, but he explained that he really has no way to confirm that I will get the discounts for year two or to  do anything abt being lied towith him on the phone. .

I've had your post copied to an employee monitored board, where a Verizon representative can assist you.  You will be contacted by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account as soon as possible.
