I just got a text alert thanking me for a payment to my canceled Fios service. The service was cancelled effective November 11th, and all equipment has been returned. They actually owe me a refund of $90 from the partial month of service since it is advance billing. I'm beyond furious right now. There is no way this is acceptable and any chance that I'd come back is now gone. It also said that all refunds for overpayments are issued via Prepaid Credit Cards. No way! I'll do a chargeback and contact the BBB. Of course no one is there in billing to speak to since it's late. This needs to be fixed ASAP!
