I am going on Month four and once again had to call a Customer Service Rep yesterday to remove, AGAIN, the international plan from my wife's line. My wife went to Africa during summer and returned in august, where I had clear dates for the service to start and then be removed. I've had to call every month since her return to have the charge reversed and the service canceled from my plan and am "assured" it won't happen again but keeps popping up and I have to call and am put on hold for another half hour to 45 minutes for them to "Work on it". I had a rep ask me last month to just pay for it and it will be fixed! What Kind of service is that? I am beyond frustrated and on the verge of just paying everything off and switching service providers. I looked at my bill for December yesterday and am being charged for it twice, so I called and was left on hold for almost an hour. I cannot keep doing this, this is Ridiculous.

I am having this same issue. I’ve now been charged for over a year ($1,300+ worth) of international plans I have not used. I’ve called monthly to resolve it, am told it’s fixed and my ticket is being reviewed for the refund & even get the Issue # for reference. I follow up every two weeks & no action has been made on it. And then the next month I continue being charged when the Verizon Service Rep tells me they removed it the month prior. I’m livid. I’ve tried cancelling numerous times to switch providers bc I’m at my boiling point, but then I can’t get a refund. However, if it’s not resolved by the end of this month I’ll be cancelling my plan, reporting this problem to numerous outlets so other customers can avoid having the same issues with Verizon and not be their customer. I’ve read many people having this issue to no resolve. It’s downright theft.

From what I've found on the Verizon website, there is a one-time international plan and a monthly subscription international plan. If you signed up for the monthly subscription, you have to unsubscribe to it in My Verizon > Account > Plans > Manage Your Perks > toggle off any perks you don't want > Confirm. I am guessing CS cannot remove it because you have to be the account owner or manager to change your perks.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
