Bill for drop wire

I keep receiving bills from CMR that I own for damages due to a dropef wire. I was never told that there were any damages to begin with. This is some 3rd part that’s affiliated with Verizon. Why do I keep receiving these bills. My account has no balance or any history for dropped wire damages.

Claims Management Resources (CMR) is a Verizon authorized vendor that provides invoicing services to recover Verizon’s cost to repair damage done to the Company’s facilities. This includes but is not limited to:
• Buried and Aerial lines
• Poles
• Conduit and vehicles
