Billing Issue

Been a customer with Verizon 21 yrs.  Today was told, after a month and several hours on the phone with conflicting "support", that Verizon's over billing of two years was my fault because I paid the bill.  Yes it was my mistake; I had it on direct pay and trusted them - my bad.  They overbilled me in excess of $800 dollars.
