I agree with you that verizon hasn't been the best. I used to be with verizon, along side my parents back in the early 2000’s until 2023 (2 decades with Verizon). I branched out on my own and got an account for my family, as the service charges were so high I switched over to T-mobile, I had some trouble with them in the beginning but at the end of the day they took care of my family. But with verizon with their billing payments is ridiculously flawed. They double charged me $646 stating that I had made payment from my personal account and from the prepaid card from T-mobile. But in the system you have to select the payment you want to make, as I selected the prepaid card for payment and was taken out on 8/18 and then another charge was made 8/19 the following day from my personal account. Even though I did not submit a 2nd payment but their system took 2 payments from two did forms of pay. As I called to talk to verizon on 8/19 they submitted a request for reversal and come to find out today 8/27 it was denied, even with the consent (guarantee) that I would be making payment arrangements for the remainder of the payout. Anita who help me on the phone today (8/27) submitted another request and let me know that it is more than likely it will be denied again. As there system shows past due. Its past due as I am waiting on the 2nd charge that was made to my personal account reversed back to me. Then I would be able to do a pay arrangement to reflect the full amount owed. With this being said, if I am unable to get the money owed back to me due to their system taking double payment and they are not taking responsibility for their systems error. I will let the remaining balance go to collections, as they took money without my consent, I reached out to them for assistance and asking what can I do to help guarantee I can get the money back and due a payment plan for the remainder. Without any help from them and them taking money out my my children's mouths, as I have 5 kids. I will be letting everyone know about verizon and horrible they are when it comes to customer service. As they do not care if $646 dollars is a months worth of grocery money to feed my family. I am not pleased with them at all!
