We went to Verizon store last Nov.  My husband's phone was receiving 20-30 sales calls daily.  The person that assisted us said there was nothing we could do, since we had filters already on the phone; and that we needed to get a new number.   He stated that they were having a special and we could get a lower monthly charge if we got another phone and number.   He lead us to believe this promotion included a free phone.    Our bill has been running $40+ dollars more each month.    I called the Rep the first month and he said that was charges for the phone and each month the bill would go down.  When that failed to happen,  I called back and was told that Rep no longer worked for Verizon.    So it appears we were dupped by this person.   What can we do to decrease our bill.

I know I would be looking for that many sales calls to be stopped if I was having the same issue on my device. I would also be concerned if I was advised I would be getting a free phone, and then saw my bill increase as well. We would be happy to takea  look into this and see what can be done to help lower your bill. Please be on the lookout for a private message from us.
