Can no longer redeem Verizon Credit Card points towards my Fios bill

I’ve been a customer of Verizon Fios for over 6 yrs. I recently got the Verizon Credit card in February. I had no trouble redeeming the points towards my Fios bill until this month. The option to redeem them disappeared from my Verizon account. Further, when I click on the Verizon credit card link from my Verizon account, it no longer takes me to a page that tells me my rewards summary. Instead, it invites me to apply for the card that I already have. It’s as if Verizon no longer knows I have the card. Somehow, someway, my Verizon credit card was unlinked from my Verizon account?

I am not a happy camper about this. I currently have over $50 to redeem. Before that amount grows larger, before I continue to use this card, I want to know I will be able to redeem this for the next billing cycle. From what I’ reading here in the forums it does not look promising. I see a couple posts here where customers have been trying to fix this for years with no resolution? They get told to contact Synchrony, who then tells them to contact Verizon. I got the same run around today myself. Chatted with Verizon who couldn’t fix it, then I called Synchrony, who transferred me back to Verizon.

If this can’t be fixed, I’m leaving both Synchrony AND Verizon. I have other credit cards that don’t give me issues redeeming. I have T-mobile for my cell service who will be happy to have me as an internet customer as well. It should not be this hard to fix this. Someone, somewhere, must have a solution, and if there is none  I’ve got other places I can be.
