Can’t redeem the Amazon Echo 2nd generation

Got an email from Verizon on 12/13/2018 (after 31 day installed new Fios) to redeem the Amazon Echo (2nd generation) but the link to redeem never show up. Called, chat..... to them but they kept telling to call this and that numbers.... Was that just commercial?
