I cancelled my Verizon service in January and transferred to Mint mobile, and have no other verizon services. I keep getting a monthly bill from verizon, and now from collections. When I cancelled in Jan they said Id get a confirm number by email but I never did.
When i called verizon today about their bill they said they couldnt help me. They couldnt confirm my account was cancelled or send me any confirmation of any kind over email or mail.
I dont know if my account is actually canceled because they refused to help me or escalate me to a manager. Is this the shakedown that Verizon does when you cancel? Do I just have to pay forever or get sent to collections? I dont owe on a device and wasnt in contract...what is going on?
