I have a question that hopefully someone can help me. I have been a Verizon Fios customer for 7 years. I recently was found disabled by the Social Security Administration. I applied and was approved for the Lifeline discount. Since I don’t have a landline, I want to use it for my internet services. I got a Lifeline approval number; and I’ve been calling Verizon asking how I can apply this discount to my account. So far I’ve been given the run around and no one seems to know the answer. What can I do? I have email proof that I’m approved, and I called Lifeline and they told me that Verizon also has access to verify my Lifeline approval. What number or department should I call? I’m in NJ if that’s matters.
