Cant pay my verizon bill

After trying around 3 times to pay my bill with the same card that I used every month and I'm still unable to do it. it keep showing this message 'We are sorry, we could not process your request. Please try again later or use an alternative method of payment.'
How can I fix this cause I will not pay a late fee when is not even my fault.
