Cash only status!!??

Ok. So I switched to Verizon in January. I set up my auto pay where it would take my payment directly from the bank. 1st payment was made. Well 3 days later. The BANK sent the payment back bc they thought it was fraud. Long story short. Bc it was the 1st payment and was sent back.(no fault ofy own) I was put on cash only status! No autopay discount etc. Can't upgrade of finance a new phone or anything! Since this occurred. I've made every single payment 2 weeks early! I've called and they say that they can't lift the hold etc.. Thats totally unacceptable! Bc u placed me innthat status. I can't get anywhere with ppl in store or on the phone. Nobody knows anything.. Figured I'd give this a shot. If not, Ill be switching to T-Mobile!! Obviously, Verizon don't care if they lose customers. Every time you call, it's out sourced to India. If u can understand them. They don't know jack about nothing!! It's ridiculous at this point! Bc the bank made the mistake. I've paid for it! I was gonna get 2 more lines for family. Try and fiance a phone. It literally said like 2000$ up front!!?? Who has that kind of money for a phone or phones upfront!!?? Do better Verizon!!! Or you'll lose another customer! I promise!!!

Hello, Jpwood099, thanks so much for reaching out about your account! We're glad to hear that you chose Verizon and are sorry to hear about the issue with your payment. Being on a cash only status can certainly be inconvenient. So we can better assist, we will be reaching out via Private Message.

Sorry to hear about that.  If an autopay transaction declines for any reason, then the system cancels your autopay and you can't sign back up for autopay for 6 months.  Wish there were a way around this ban because glitches can definitely happen, but it is what it is.  I suppose the consolation here is if you've had the problem since January, you ought to be eligible to sign back up for autopay in July.  If you've got an automatic bill pay setup elsewhere, make sure Verizon is NOT on that setup because I've heard of 3rd party bill pay situations blocking even signing up for autopay through Verizon, or not letting the payment go through for whatever reason.  Otherwise, I'd check with your bank as to why they flagged your first payment as fraud.
