Charged for PPV fight I did not order or watch
I was charged $99.99 for a PPV boxing fight on May 2nd that I neither order or watched. I hate boxing. When I initially called the customer service rep said she couldn't see how it was ordered and said my account would be recredited the charge plus taxes. The next day I received a voicemail saying the credit was denied. When I called back the Verizon rep said I ordered it on my remote and watched it from 6p-2a. What kind of boxing fight lasts 8 hours! I asked to cancel my account but apparently customer service has no authority to do so and has to transfer you. I was told that I was going to receive a call from someone who would assist in closing my account but I never received a call. I am through with Verizon's scams, untruthfulness and lies. I've filed a complaint with BBB and will go to my bank if Verizon doesn't drop the charge. I am extremely disappointed with Verizon and from reading these posts I am not the only victim of this Verizon scam. Awful customer service, I guess Verizon would rather steal money from its customers and lose customers to their competitors versus doing the right thing.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.

Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.

To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
