Chatham NY has no Cellular Signal Poor to none Every Verizon user in our area.

Chatham NY, Valatie, NY and several other small towns in our area have has little to no Cel signal for a few months now.  As our schools Network Admin I have advised fellow staff and students at Chatham Central schools to call Verizon and open a ticket. For weeks we were told their was no issue even though hundreds of us have SOS on our phones and no bars.  Now we are told the issue is resolved but it has not been. Other carriers in the area work fine. They are also 5G and Verizon is a low Quality 4G in the area. I have submitted numerous outage reports and nothing has changed. We are all paying our bills and get nothing in return. At this point it is theft. We pay and get no service. Today I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Our Schools will be switching to AT & T and I will be advising staff and students to do the same. Why pay for service that does not deliver?

Gilbert, this isn't something a troubleshooting process is going to solve.  The OP is reporting what sounds like a huge dead zone.  While Verizon does not have 5G in rural areas, I would have thought at least the LTE would be working, particularly in New York State, as Verizon has a pretty solid footprint in the northeastern US?

I don't know how long this problem has been occurring, but if it has been a longtime, persistent issue of not being able to get service at all there, can't blame the OP for switching carriers since another provider clearly works in same location.
