I have been a loyal customer to Fios for 3 years and Verizon for 7 - since I was 18. I worked for verizon as a sales rep for 2 years when I say I love verizon I mean it. I closed my Fios account because where I moved to doesn't get Fios. 2 months later I see a collections charge for $122 from verizon on my credit report. A) I have only had these two accounts with verizon there are no other accounts B) I pad my bill in FULL - have the phone call with agent when I closed the account plus email receipts to prove and the final bill wasn't even for that amount. C) Equipment has been returned - the router came free with my promotion and I still returned it. So now I would love to know why my score is down 100 points and a charge that doesn't exist is on my report. I loved verizon till this point but looks like I need a new carrier and to file a dispute. And apparently they do this to everyone loyal customer or not.
