I was sent to collections a few years back upon closing my Verizon account. I originally owed $97 for the remainder of the bill but was also told I needed to pay an additional 339 for a galaxy watch that I purchased IN FULL in person. I have original receipts and have been more than willing to provide them the proof. Over and over again I have discussed this issue with Verizon and multiple times they were to correct the balance and never did. They have sent me to collections called JEFFERSON CAPITAL UNIFIN. Collections have told me that if I pay 150, the amount would be considered paid in full. I would like to know why Verizon themselves have not been willing to work with me and take my receipts and correct the balance. I would like to pay this account off for the CORRECT amount of 150 instead of the 450 dollars they have been trying to get me to pay. I would like to pay this through VERIZON.
