Hi there, I have been a long-standing Verizon customer (Mobile, Internet, Cable) but due to financial hardships fell behind on my mobile bill. The below is the following that happened:
My bill went into collections with Sequium Asset Solutions, LLC, the amount listed PLUS an additional $229.94 fee. I then contacted Verizon and they say it's with Transworld Systems Inc. (TSI). Which I have not received any communication from so I am a bit confused there.
To make matters even more confusing, this sadly shows up on all my credit reports from all the reporting agencies as with Verizon still under the correct past-due amount that appeared on my final bill before the account was closed. None of them mention any of the companies above or the additional fees.
Another confusing part is I can still access the bill on Verizon via " pay one time bill without signing in" which I would prefer to do to settle this matter and try to get this recalled and removed. Any help would be helpful as I keep getting the run around via phone trying to find the right person to talk to.

Sorry to hear your account went to collections. From what I've read in the forums with others who've had this happen, once an account has gone to collections, it has been "written off" by Verizon. Not sure why you can still access the bill on the one-time payment site, but you'd be better off paying the balance to the collections agency as Verizon doesn't really have your account anymore and the collections agency will get confused if you pay elsewhere, thinking you still owe money.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know there's no way to get this off your credit report for the next 7 years. Stuff happens in life, and it's unfortunate, but you'll have to keep moving on and working towards getting things better. Wishing you the best of luck.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
