We've been Verizon customers for more than a decade. I don't have a problem signing a multi-year contract because I'm agreeing to the CURRENT terms and conditions. Now in February, Verizon decides to unilaterally break that contract and charge me $12 more per month. The customer service rep was very nice and got us on another plan for almost the same amount (I'm not going to cry over the $0.20 increase - though it's still irritating- and I'm irritated that I had to spend 30 minutes getting it fixed!). Now today I get a notification that, since we removed the Verizon cloud access in the above change to service (does anyone use Verizon's cloud when you probably already have access to iCloud or Google Cloud?), they are automatically enrolling me in their 600GB cloud plan- only $6 per line - another $12 - but don't worry, the first month is free. If you log in, it appears that the service is 100% free - no mention of the future cost. I have disenrolled from this racket.
