DEALING WITH VERIZON FIOS IS WORSE THAN THE IRS

I have an SD box that I wanted to upgrade to an HD box. Last week I called to make this happen and I was told I had to go to the Retail store to swap the boxes out. I was told there was only 1 store in the entire Pittsburgh region and it was over an hour away. The rep said they would ship the box to me. Today I recieved a box to send back the SD box still have not received the HD box even though I am being charged for it. I contacted an on-line rep today to find out where the HD BOX was and they had no idea where it was. They told me to call the 1-800 number which I did. After waiting on hold for over an hour I finally hung up. I went back online to see if they could help and they told me they were technical services and would need to tranfer to billing but that it could be up to an hour!!!! This is absolutly pathetic. Needless to say I will be contacting DIRECT TV tomorrow to make the switch.
