Verizon put a collections report on my credit for 1118, but I don't have a Verizon account. In fact I have never had a Verizon account in my name, past due or otherwise. I tried disputing it with Experian, but they deemed it verified to be accurate when, again, it simply could not be. I sent a debt validation letter, and have not received any response. I have no idea if this is fraud or if it's a mistake. Maybe it's a coincidence, but this.started right after I attempted to get a new phone thru Verizon; it ultimately forced me into a broken version of the website with almost no functionality. I chatted with support and they told me my account was restricted and needed identity verification, and gave me a number to call to get that cleared up. I couldn't get thru at that time, and ultimately went with another service. Shortly aftery my credit is slammed with this. It's causing significant issues for me, and if it isn't cleared up soon might lead to long term problems that I should not have to suffer. As neither of the first step resolutions provided relief, I'm reaching out directly for assistance correcting this error. Thank you.

Thank you for your assistance, but the link does not work, it errors out. (I know I'm late making this reply, but it didn't work the day it was received either, so I don't believe it is an issue of timing out)
I'm also not sure what this would do. As I said I've never had an actual account - I used my information when I was considering buying a phone and service, but it ultimately wasn't used to purchase services. I checked just now, I can use that email on the log in page, and it takes me to a page that says the following: "Welcome to Verizon. You are signed in as a guest. Update your profile with an account number or mobile number to manage your bill, services and more." I don't know if this is helpful or not but I figured it might provide some insight.
