Erroneous Router Charge

Recently transferred service to a new apartment with my own router that I bought 5 years ago. Received my new bill that showed a charge of 149.99 for a quantum router that I never authorized or received. Contacted customer service via chat on July 26th and was told the charge would be dropped within 48 hours.  Here we are almost 72 hours later and the charge is still showing on my current bill. Still unsure why this charge automatically shows up or why a technician even had to come out for me to plug the Ethernet cord into my current router.
