Error in setting up MyVerizon Account; and need refund for express overnight shipping. Unable to get in contact with support through chat

I got started with Verizon yesterday, Sunday, April 29th. I set up a new line and imported my number from US Cellular. Somehow, the email I signed up with is not connected to the phone number I signed up with, and when I try to connect it, it says the number is already connected to a different email. Trying to recover said account, I put in my phone number and zip code and it keeps telling me it does not match Verizon's records. This simply does not make any sense. I have been unable to access MyVerizon account because of this strange error. I need help consolidating the two accounts but have been unable to get help through the support page chat function. I would call if I had the option but do not have a functioning phone until my new phone from Verizon arrives. 

Which leads me to my second issue. I paid an extra $16 for overnight express shipping, because I need the phone as soon as possible. It was first advertised that the phone would arrive by noon today, then I was told by 10:30am today. The phone has still not arrived, and UPS, the apparent courier, is unable to provide me any relevant updates or provide me with a refund.

This has been a very poor first experience getting started with Verizon.
