After closing the Fios account last month, I returned the equipment as required, but I received a bill from verizon for $21.67. I want to know what this $21.67is for? Now I have no way to log into the account to see the detailed bill, because we didn't register the account with a mobile number in the beginning.

 I also don't have access to my account number, so I don't know how to pay for it. I even went to the offline store, but they cannot find my account number with my verizon ID (which is my email) and my SSN. But I was told that my SSN could still lurk inside their system, and my bill could be sent to debt collector???

After searching the forum, this seems to be the case at least since 2015, every post about this is replied with “Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent.”. Some real solution please. You cannot send the bill to debt collector while preventing customers from paying for it. This is RIDICULOUS.
