My husband died in March.  I called to remove his phone from billing.  Agent instead said they would close old account and start a new one in my name.  Since April every month I am accused of not paying my bill.  It has been paid every month and is up to date.  My phone gets restricted every month until I call, wait usually an hour, then agent takes me through all the same hoops over and over for about an hour, tells me the money is going to the wrong account and they have fixed the problem.  I send proof every month of payment.  Mind you this happens every month!!!!  Then again my service is cut off and we start the whole charade all over again.  I cannot give Verizon enough bad press!!!  The worst Customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!  As of today I am switching to AT&T.  Good riddance to Verizon!!!!!  I’m done spending hours on the phone proving I pay my bill over and over.  It is a simple solution.  The money is still going to the old account!!!!  Change it!!!!  I even include correct plan ID number on the payment!!!  Pretty simple stuff.  I too am sick of being bullied.  Now I was told I won’t be able to change plans unless I pay up past bills.  I have none.  They need to figure out where my money goes every month.  If I get more threats, they will hear from my lawyer!  And please get people who speak good English!!!!!
