Getting my refund from a discontinued service

So I've been dealing with this issue for quite some time.  I never got my refund that Verizon said they were going to give me.  It's been a year and nothing.  I called them today and had said my account was transferred to Frontier.  I called Frontier and they said they have no record of my account and I need to contact Verizon.  I called Verizon and said they are unable to access my account since my account was sold to Frontier.

Everyone was nice and polite whom I talked to.  But now, where is my refund? I have a paper bill showing I am still owed money from my canceled service.  Is there any way I can send an email to Verizon? I am so frustrated, it's getting quite annoying now.  It's not really fair my account just gets lost in this transition and I just lose my money.  Any recomendations?

Hi eguzman4,

If you are located in California, Texas or Florida, Frontier assumed your account and all liabilities associated with it on April 1st.  Frontier has the action to resolve the billing issue in question.

Hi Lawrence,

Thank you for the fast reply.  Although I do understand the Frontier took over the accounts, they are unable to find anything under my name nor any information I gave them.  I really don't know what to do at this point.  It seems Verizon may have lost my account at this point.  I have a paper monthly statement that shows the refund I was suppose to get.  I've contacted Frontier many times and they redirect me to Verizon since my service was canceled before the transition.  But then I contact Verizon and I get the same response you had given from every representive I've talked to.  It's totally unfair my refund was lost during this transition.  I paid my dues with Verizon and returned all the equipment promplty, but never got my refund check.

Hi eguzman4,

All former Verizon accounts in the states I mentioned are now Frontier accounts.  There are procedures for addressing these sorts of issues.  You will need to escalate this with Frontier.
